We were honoured to host the African Network Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland’s celebration of Black History Month 2025.

Under the powerful theme “Rebirth & Justice: Embracing the African Renaissance,” our community gathered to celebrate African heritage, culture, and unity. The evening was a vibrant tapestry of inspiring speeches, music, dance, and community recognition.

Event Highlights:

• Keynote Speaker: We were privileged to welcome Mr. Sammy Crabbe, CEO of the International Foundation Group, Ghana.
• Cultural Showcase: The event featured special guests and performances that brought the spirit of the African Renaissance to life.
• Community Spirit: From the raffle draw to the stunning display of cultural and smart casual attire, the energy at Beaumont Leys School was truly unforgettable.
