The energy was electric at Pegasus House as the Leicester African Fans (LAF) community came together for the African Cup of Nations 2026 Finals Watch Party. It was a night of passion, sportsmanship, and true community spirit as we cheered on the best of African football.
Highlights of the Night:
- The Venue: We gathered on the 3rd floor of Pegasus House, right in the heart of Leicester, creating a stadium-like atmosphere for all attendees.
- Unity through Sport: Fans from across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland joined as one to celebrate the talent and unity displayed throughout the tournament.
- Diversity in Action: Supported by Fans For Diversity, the event showcased how football acts as a universal language that brings our diverse community closer together.
- Community Support: A huge thank you to our collaborators, including EAVA FM, The International Foundation Group, Obuntu, and the Bezalel Foundation, for helping us host such a successful celebration.
Events like these remind us that whether on the pitch or in the stands, our community is stronger when we come together. We look forward to many more “Finals” celebrations in the future!
